History tells us that the most important reason other generations collected coins was the worth that coins would someday attain. The ancient form of coin collecting was even labeled a past-time “fit for the kings” because ancient coins were so valuable that only the kings were capable of collecting them.
Today’s coin collection is no longer restricted to the “kings” or the wealthy. Anyone can now consider coin picking up as their pastime. My first experience on a game development team was truly eye opening to the situation at hand. “First we were multinational, now we’re multigenderal.” That boggled my mind, and lead me to investigate what the demographics truly were in the game development industry. What do you do when a pastime has run dry? That is actually what seems to have occured to gaming recently. If you take a look at the new titles, you’ll realize that lots of them are merely retreads of older PC games. No, I’m not mentioning Final Fantasy 55 ?, I’m mentioning the shooter retreads. Is there a unique story? It doesn’t look like there is, and that’s a problem that aggravates old game players to a very high degree.

A common pastime for web surfers is joining free contests in which all types of items can be won. The web brought with it new potential for companies to make contact with their consumers past, now and in the future, by setting up stunts such as free to enter giveaways, contests and other self-propelling marketing opportunities. Commonly, social connections sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace have been used to push the prize draws, and even those business targetted sites such as APSense have been exploited. For ages before the popularity of the net contests were run by magazines and via the postal system (many of these are still happening today). In the last few years though, staging these pr stunts on the net has significantly reduced operating costs. Without looking too hard, ... more ...

The Germans are not the first people who come to mind when people think about party nations. The Germans have earned themselves a reputation as being serious and hard workers. I’m still trying to figure out how the Germans fooled the world into believing that they are so conscientious and industrious. The reality is in fact very different. Not only do the German’s enjoy comparatively short working weeks but they also have some of the longest holidays. That’s why meeting Germans on holidays abroad is almost inevitable because the Germans have so many holidays. These days more than ever you’ll find that Germans prioritize time with friends and family above the prestige of a high earning job.
It’s true that a popular German pastime is watching their ... more ...
