Whether I am playing in a Free Poker Tournament online or a buy in game at a casino, the devastation of crash and burns are still the same.
Recently I played a $1K Winner Take All live poker tournament at a local casino. The buy in was decent at $50.00 and only 20 seats in the tournament. It was full of action and the play was what you would expect, lively.
I was surprised at some of the “donking”, but that soon settled down to some real action. After our first break we were down to 8 players on the final table. To be a good live poker player one must have little or no facial expressions. Behind a computer screen of course is a different story, but you may want to practice keeping a lifeless expression when you step away from Free Poker Games and step out into a casino.
Sitting at a table with 9 other people trying to knock down there stacks while building yours up can be quite challenging. Did you ever notice in the casino people wear sunglasses to cover the expression of a good hand or sheer panic of a good hand gone astray? Here even a good poker player will start to feel a little pressure.
