What do you do when an activity has gotten tired? That is exactly what appears to have occured to gaming lately. If you take a look at the latest games, you’ll notice that a good deal of them are merely retreads of older games. No, I’m not bringing up Final Fantasy 55 ?, I’m bringing up the RPG retreads. Is there a creative storyline? It doesn’t look like there is, and that’s an issue that irritates longstanding gamers infinitely.

What do you do when an activity has run dry? That is exactly what appears to have taken place to video games in the past few years. If you take a look at the latest titles, you’ll realize that lots of them are only retreads of older games. No, I’m not talking about Final Fantasy 55 ?, I’m talking about the action clones. Is there a creative focus? It doesn’t appear that there is, and that’s a problem that aggravates longstanding game players to a very high degree.

In the past few years there has been a stream of Japanese games released. These games are amongst the most popular games that are out there, but are also some of the most obscure. Why are Japanese games so popular and will this movement carry on in the future?
