Although many able bodied people and those new to life in a chair may not even realize it, there are countless activity options available for those in a wheelchair. Here is a list of some fun activities for those in a wheelchair:
Sports: Don’t just assume that because someone is in a wheelchair they can’t play sports. In fact, many people in wheelchairs still use sports as an outlet. For example, many wheelchair users love to play basketball, ... more ...

It’s not possible to take all of these modern conveniences and forms of entertainment away from our kids. You can’t hope to prevent kids from wanting to play video games. There is however something that you can do, you can set limitations to make sure that they are getting enough exercise.
1. Set up a rewards system
This is simple, yet effective. Let your kids spend time in front of their screens being entertained, but make them “earn” it by being active first. 15 minutes of exercise “buys” them 30 minutes of video games, or something similar. Kids will see this as a bargain, ... more ...

Many teens and kids are always locked in their room after school to play on their computer games such as XBOX, WII and PS3. There is no question that they are either on the Internet or playing their computer games while listening to music. I haven’t seen a teenager who spends few hours with his or her family after school. Most kids go straight to their room after school, if not then some parents are always asking their kids to go and do their homework first and then come watch TV and when they go up they don’t come down till they are hungry for food. From this they don’t want to spend time with their family on their days off from School either so this can be pushing a lot of kids away from their parents.
Recently I did a research in the school I teach ... more ...

Today’s modern era has sparked a new revolution in video gaming as the new-generation gaming platforms lead the way. But when we look a few decades back we will see that before the playstation, wii or xbox, there were the free classic arcade games. And to most people who grew up in that era, there is nothing that would compare to these free arcade video games. Clearly, free classic arcade games have their reign in that generation of gamers.
Way back when, these free classic arcade games were played in machines that look like an oversized box. This unit has a large video display output. This allows the user to have a bigger participation in the game. The unit also features of a control feature ... more ...
